It has adjustable lever positioning through the lock screw mechanism which allows the rider to fine tune the distance the lever sits from the bar for a better clutch feel. The shoes that were delivered showed signs of wear. Not sure if this was a used pair or a display pair but this should have been caught from the beginning.
